Ok this is gross but help! My belly button started itching/burning last night and tonight I noticed it's red and has this little bump in it. (I'm fat and a super inny so seeing it or taking a pic was NOT the easiest lol). I've never had a piercing there or ever had this problem before. I washed it REALLY good, put a hot compress on it, put some Neosporin in it and then a few hours later washed it again, made sure it was fully dry

and put anti-fungal cream on it (PLEASE NOTE the white in the pic is antifungal cream, NOT part of the infection!) I'm just nervous what caused it and if I need a DR. I'm between GPs right now and hate to pay my urgent care copay unless I have to so I thought I would see if anyone has any insight on what could be the cause of this and what my best plan of attack might be.
