Bottle Sterilizer?

FTM here! I’ve seen mixed opinions about purchasing a bottle sterilizer. Is it worth getting? 
We are renting a place that’s 12 years old and the appliances have never been upgraded so we don’t trust the dishwasher and we’d prefer not to use a microwave sterilizer.
We’re looking into getting a Baby Brezza or a Wabi. Both are sterilizer/dryers.

Unless baby has health concerns, it is unnecessary to sterilize your bottles. I hand washed mine with dish soap and let them air dry.  I had brand new appliances and didn't like how they cleaned in the dishwasher. I also used tap water to make his formula when I gave up exclusive pumping at 6 months.  He is fine. But the important thing is to do what makes you comfortable.  If you find that the idea of sterilized bottles makes you sleep better at night, it's totally worth it.

I have a microwave sterilizer but don’t really use it- maybe my smaller bottles but  I just boil my bottles/nipples parts in a pot on the stove for a few minutes and it works just the same.

I would boil water and drop the bottle in the boiled water for 30 seconds and it’s did the same thing as an expensive bottle sterilizer.

Here in the U.K. it’s recommend to use a bottle steriliser for the 1st year of baby life so only comes natural for me to say yes I would defo get one. 👍🏻 we always hand wash bottles then sterilise them..

I have a microwave one and a regular one. I actually prefer the microwave one because after a few uses of the other one mold started growing in it. It was very annoying because I let it air out and dried it as much as I could before putting it away and it still happened. I heard it’s a common problem with those ones. With the microwave ones you just have to be careful about how long you leave certain things in there or they will melt if you’re sterilizing toys and stuff. Bottles usually are ok though

I have the baby Brezza and I absolutely love it!!!! I pump so by the time my next session is, I already will have clean and dry bottles.
