Pregnant or Period?

Abaigeal

I'll try to keep the background info short. I have PCOS, stopped having a period for months in 2014 & had to start taking progesterone to jumpstart them. I then had regular periods with cycles ranging from 28-33 days. Trying to conceive for 2 years with multiple failed IUIs before my daughter happened without any help. Had bariatric surgery (VSG) when she was 10 months old & am now 17 months post-op. My period has been on an insanely tight schedule of 28 days since my surgery. We've been casually trying for #2 for awhile, but we increased our efforts last month. I'm now 9 days late, have tender breasts, have experienced mild cramping on 2 separate days for about an hour each, am noticeably warmer than usual, am extremely exhausted, & have been nauseous & vomiting periodically for the past 4 days. I haven't told my husband any of this because I want to surprise him if I'm pregnant, but he's noticed something's up (he's the most oblivious man, so this is a big deal) & flat out asked me if I could be pregnant because "This all seems very familiar." The weather has been crazy here so I ordered tests on Amazon to avoid driving on the ice; they'll be here later today. I was almost certain that I'm pregnant, but I started seeing light pink blood on my toilet paper when I wipe since about 5 hours ago. I'm wearing a pad & the light pink hasn't affected it at all, but there is a TINY bit of reddish brown mucus-like stuff on my pad... I'm talking like not even 1/8 of a teaspoon. I haven't had any cramps in over 24 hours. I'm honestly terrified to take the test when it gets here because I just don't want it to be negative. Somehow waiting for more blood to definitively show me that I'm on my period is less painful than peeing on that stick & being 100% certain that I'm not pregnant. Truthfully, does it seem like I'm pregnant despite the spotting (I know it sounds similar to implantation bleeding, but that usually occurs before the expected start of your period & I'm already 9 days past my period)? Should I just give it a few more days? We were planning on doing our photos for christmas cards this weekend & I wanted to give him the news during the shoot so I could capture his reaction & use the photos in our Christmas cards to surprise our friends & family. I seriously just need someone to tell me what to do.
