Animals sense labour??

So this is my baby girl, she’s 2, I got her from a broken home and she doesn’t trust anyone except my Nan, she won’t go near me let alone lie on me, I lost my mucus plug yesterday and all day she’s been laid on my stomach I didn’t have to pick her up or anything, my dog is by my side and won’t leave me either, none of the animals will, they knew I was pregnant before I did but is it possible she can sense me going into labour before I know I am? My baby is wriggling like crazy and she’s purring away which is really unusual for her! 🤔🤔

UPDATE***

I now am getting very “Period pain” like feelings downstairs and back pain, baby is wriggling very well!!
