How often do you see the doctor with twins?

I’m having identical twins according to the ultrasound tech but she didn’t say whether they are mo/di or mo/mo. She wasn’t sure. I won’t see the doctor for another month. I feel like I should be seen sooner because I’m high risk. Is this normal? I’m 12 weeks

I had modi twins i fekt the same but they didnt send me to a specialist or start seeing me more aften till 16 weeks. That was just normal for them from what i hear its to wait to see if babies stick. After 16 weeks i saw my specialist every 2 weeks and my reg ob every 4 weeks. It continued that way untill about 24 weeks then my specialist saw me once a week and at 27 weeks twice a week. Then near 30 weeks i was admitted for preeclampsia. Boys were born at 30 weeks and 2 days.

I’m pregnant with di/di twins but I still only went monthly until 30 weeks I think. Starting at 32 weeks I do a non-stress Test every week.

I’m pregnant with di/di. My dr said they don’t treat twin pregnancies any different then single pregnancies in the first and second trimester unless you have any complications. I have seen her at 8 weeks, 13 weeks, and have my next ultrasound at 20weeks.

Mine are mo/di and I go in to the MFM every two weeks. Well I used to now I go twice a week plus two NSTs a week but I’m 31 weeks and baby A has IUGR so I’m more high risk now. So ya you should be going every two weeks to monitor for twin to twin transfusion syndrome. Also you need to know ASAP whether you are having mo/mo or mo/di because mo/mo are much higher risk as their is the possibility of cord entanglement as well as TTTS.
