restarting mini pill? (help pls!)

i stopped taking the norethindrone pill about early june this year when i was no longer sexually active, but now that i am again (have been using condoms) i would like to start back on the pill. i never had any problems on it, and the boxes come with 3 packs. i have one unopened pack from when i stopped. is it okay to open it and start to take it again, or should i just wait until i get a whole new box?
