How did your babies birth weight match to the last estimate from ultrasound?

Im 39+4 and I had an ultrasound Thursday and they said my baby was measuring at 37 weeks and about 7lbs. Then i had an ultrasound today and baby was measuring at 7lbs 9oz and right on track. How?? Im hoping she’s closer to 7 because I’ve heard they can be like a pound off and i don’t want to push out an 8lb baby😭

My doctor told me that those estimates are commonly up to 2 pounds off, so she wouldn’t even give me an estimate because she said they just scare people more than anything else.

Told me first would be 10+ lbs and was only 8 lbs 14 oz. 
Told me my second would be 8+ lbs and was only 6 lbs even. 
Told me my third (most recent) baby would be closer to 9 lbs and he was only 7 lbs 13 oz.
Completely off all three times. That’s the thing though... ultrasounds are incredibly inaccurate in determining the weight of an unborn baby.

At my last ultrasound which was the day she was born (36+6) the ultrasound tech said she was measuring 6lbs 15oz. I ended up going up to my appointment and was dilated to a 5 and didn’t even know it. I had her that night at 5:40pm and she came out 7lbs 3oz. So honestly she was pretty spot on, just off a few ounces.

I had an ultrasound at 34+4 they estimated baby girl to be 7 lbs 4 oz. I’m anxious to see how much she has grown on Monday at my next ultrasound (38+2) and how big she’ll be when she’s born! 😳

Hospital on Sunday said 9,lbs 14 oz. Two days later he was born at 8lbs 6 oz.
This time 7 days before birth mfm said 6lbs 11oz. She was!

Baby was WAY larger. My first was 7lbs3oz. They estimated this one would be around the same size... she was over by 2+lbs. 🙈 BUT she was easier to birth than my first (and I required fewer stitches this time) because my body was like okay been here done this before.
