Does any know if zzz quill is safe to use during pregnancy 🤰?

I second unisom. It’s one of the active ingredients in Diclegis which is prescribed to women to help with morning sickness, so it’s completely safe. Just start with a half a tablet. It knocks me out if I even take a half. I typically take 1/3 if I need it.

I was told it’s technically fine, but if you don’t need it, that is better. If you want it for sleep, a melatonin sleep aid has less ingredients. The pharmacist should be able to show you an option

Unisom is a sleep aid and is 100% safe in pregnancy as long as it’s NOT the liquid gels. The pill form is what is okay to take, and that is what I suggest using. It works for me on a 1/2 tab. However, I’ve done a bit of reading and the general online verdict is zzzquill is okay - I would run it by your OB first if it is not on your list of approved medications. Also, there haven’t been studies on melatonin in pregnancy so my doctor said while it is ~ probably ~ okay because it’s natural she suggest avoiding it because we don’t know for sure.

They say Benadryl and zzzquil have the same ingredients I was prescribed Benadryl 🤔 might just wait on my doctor
