Did my period restart?

I had a miscarriage on 10/19 and by about 11/13 I was just having brown spotting. On 11/14 the blood turned bright red again, but it’s still really mucousy. I took a negative HPT on 11/16. Could this be my period returning? Has anyone else experienced this?
