Sorry this is kind of along post so please bear with me I really need the advice. So my husband has 3 children from a previous relationship. We live in ohio so after they split the biological mother had custody of them she filed for child support only after he met me and she found out that we were getting married. He was ordered to $411.30 a month. A few months back(August to be exact) his oldest who was 7 at the time came to me and told me that her bio mom help her brother(who was 5 at the time) upside down by his feet beat his butt then let go so that he fell on his head. That was on a Sunday which was the normal day we would take them back to her. Well he de ided to keep them and on monday he went and filed for emergency custody. She found out on Wednesday and went and filed for custody of them as well. She texted him and told him that she filed for a protection order against him and that if he didnt give them back he would be going to jail and had a prosecutor call him and say the same thing. So he gave them back in fear of going to jail. Next day we found out that it was a lie and she didnt file for it. Well a social worker came to our house and flat out told him that he wouldnt get custody she wouldnt let it happen. Well the kids bio mom is nasty never cleans or anything. The kids always stink when we get them. So of course the social worker had to call ahead to go to her house. All the judge said was that he gets every weekend and made a new court date and said the kids had to do an on camera interview with her. We had another court date and his days got cut to every Wednesday and every other weekend. And they set a trial date. The kids come over here and say they hate her they dont want to live there the oldest hates having to go back and cries when we tell her it's time. I just dont know what to do at this point. She used to tell the kids she hates them and wishes she wouldnt have had them.
