When should I take my birthing classes? (Read below)

Question

I'm due April 15th and my hospital offers the birthing classes in a 4 week session. I could either do my classes for the 4wks in January or the 4wks in March.
I want to be close enough to my due date that I remember everything, but not so close that I might miss out if I deliver early.

If you are anything like me I will tell you from experience that if you are due in April you aren’t going to be in the mood to do ANYTHING in March.

You won’t forget the important stuff if you took the class tomorrow.  March is cutting it close and you’ll be more uncomfortable sitting through a class.  I went two weeks early with my first.  My sister was 36 weeks at all her pregnancies.  You just never know.

I’m doing them in January. March is too close to my due date and he’s measuring so big i may not make it to April anyway.

We’re doing ours in January (due April 9th). My sister was 6 wks early with her first and 3 wks early with her 2nd. I didn’t want to risk it!
