Extended dose of clomid

I am currently on day 3 of my first round of clomid after having no period since becoming pregnant with my daughter 2 years ago. My doctor put me on 50mg for 10 days and I am not sure how to plan sex around it. All of the answers I am seeing are for the 5 day dosage. Has anyone had a similar experience?
