My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years. We are both 20 and I am currently a sophomore in college (my boyfriend chose not to go to college). We still see each other almost everyday because school is only 20 minutes away from where I live.

Anyway, my school has this optional education abroad program where you can live in another country for 1 month during the summer and get to learn about the history of the country and get college credit towards a class. My major is in English and the English program gets to go to London. I told my boyfriend about this because I was so excited for this opportunity. He immediately got angry and said he doesn’t want me to go because he would miss me too much and that he wants to experience those things (traveling) with me.

Should I go anyway?
