Do you have to be married before starting your family?

Clearly you don’t have to be married to have children. I want to know if you personally wanted to be married first, or if you didn’t really care, etc.

My husband and I definitely wanted to be married before starting a family. Our checklist before having a baby was:
- Obtain Master's Degrees
- Get Married
- Buy A House
Thank God we were able to do all of that before getting pregnant 🙌🏾

Have 2 kids with my SO. We are engaged but in no rush to get married. We live together and are so in love with each other and will eventually but things are great for us the way they are. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Don’t care about marriage or kids.
What we do want first is to bring higher up in our careers, own some land and make more than we do now.
I’m 23 and only make 60-70k and he’s 33 and makes 100k+. We want to at least own property before we think about having to pay for kids. And marriage is irrelevant.

I used to think; BF, Marriage, Sex, Kids.
My brother is 45yo, two kids and been with his gf for 25 years. I could never understand why they never go married. 
But even though I'm Catholic and a church go'er I don't actually belive in god. 
There's something about church I love, the teaching are great, the people are lovely. 
But I don't see the point in marriage. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Definitely want to be married. Undecisive about kids Something I would want to discuss with my future husband out there somewhere 😂
