When do you tell others you are pregnant?

We just had a PPT for our first child. I’m scared and excited and am kind of bursting to tell.

Whoever you want. We told after our ultrasound at 8 weeks

We told close family right away. Ik if I did miscarry I would need support. Luckily that never happened. Announced on social media at 8 weeks after my ultrasound

My parents and sister: right away (they were the only people who knew we were going through IVF)
Siblings and husbands parents: between 8-10 weeks
Social media announcement: 14 weeks
Honestly I would tell whoever you’re comfortable with. As long as you’d be ok to also share the experience of a loss in case that were to happen; which sucks to even consider as a possibility but I imagine it’s difficult to go through telling everyone then having to tell them something happened. In the case of my husbands parents, we knew his mother wouldn’t keep it a secret so we waited until after our 8 week scan to tell them. And told all siblings within the next week or so.

Waited until 16 weeks to announce to everyone else. No real reason why 🤷🏻‍♀️

My friend told me as soon as she found out. She told her family starting at 8 weeks and told co workers a little after 12. 
I don’t plan on telling anyone for as long as I can stand it. Idk how I will feel after it happens though. I may change my mind. Lol

I told my husband, mom, and BFF right away. We told our kids at 11 weeks. In-laws and other relatives 12/13 weeks. Announced publicly on social media at about 15 weeks.

I waited until close to 12 weeks this time. Last time I told at 7/8 and lost the baby. Found out at my 12 week appointment that the baby had no   heartbeat so I waited this time because it sucked having to retell everyone I was no longer pregnant. 
I was gonna wait until 20 weeks to tell anyone but it got lonely and I wanted to enjoy this rainbow with people I loved.
