Is it weird to help pay for my engagement ring...
My SO struggles with money especially since we are both in college and we have begun to talk about getting married. I am not engaged yet, but while home this past trip, I came across some jewelry that I never wear and honestly forgot existed. I am considering giving it to my SO to pawn and help pay for the (soon-to-be ;) engagement ring. I know this isn't traditional, but I also don't want him to Godforbid take out a loan for a damn ring. Thoughts?
