Digital tests...always a line?

Sorry long post, thank you in advance for reading it...

So I just got back from a 4 day vacation. I'm pretty sure I'm having an anovulatory cycle or I ovulated way late I'm on CD38 today.... anyway I took a pregnancy test before I left for vacation and it looked pretty negative....so I enjoyed my vacation...I just got home tonight and re looked at the test (left it on the counter) and I see a line... obviously don't trust it because it's 3 days old and dried as hell lol...but I'm out of FRERs, cheapies and all I had left was a digital....so I took that and got a "not pregnant" result...so obviously I cracked it open lol...and there is a faint line.

Soo this long winded post just to ask: do digital tests always have faint lines? Or do I need to go buy some more normal tests ASAP?
