Provera???

Question

Anybody taken Provera before? Can you ovulate while taking it? My doctor prescribed it due to my irregular periods and I’m currently on day 6.

I’ve taken it before. I started my period on day 7. I stopped taking them after because my body had already produces enough progesterone. You can ovulate. I only took one round of it and my period came on it’s own about a month later. My cycle is currently 33 days long.

It has nothing to do with ovulation. I’ve taken it for years because my periods never came. It only makes you have a period that’s all
