It depends on what your version of short is. My daughter has long legs so dresses and skirts that are knee length on most girls are mid thigh length on her. So that is as short as it goes in my house hold.

12 and 17 is a major jump...... and 16/17, in school, no. After school maybe if she doesnt look like a hooker lol. Not short showing your ass— couple inches above the knee, sure

Well some people are ridiculous and consider certain things “too short”. If you can comfortably move around at school in it without flashing people then it’s fine haha

My and my sister wore stuff this length in highschool but usually with tights. Mostly cause it was cold all the time haha. We were 14 and 16 here.

When she’s 16 or so, then yes. If I restrict her, she’s just going to do it anyway but hide it. I mean, i did. My parents were very strict and i was very rebellious and deceptive about my clothing and where I’d be, etc. I’d rather have the honesty.
