It’s understandable why you would feel that way. When I was still getting over my first boyfriend, I felt pained or uncomfortable whenever I met or read about someone with the same name as him. I would advise not letting that name prevent you from doing things, though. One time my aunt wanted me to meet a hairdresser friend of hers over dinner and I was hesitant to go because that friend had the same name as my ex, but I decided to go despite that. I’m glad I did too, because he was a very nice person who was fun to be around. I would have missed out on something enjoyable if I let his name get in the way. This show is the same type of thing.
I haven’t watched it myself so I can’t speak on the quality of it, but I think you should do your best to get past the name and try watching the show. Even if the show ends up not being the type of thing you like, it’ll bring you a step closer in detaching that name from the bad memories it’s associated with.
