I recently just had a dream about my ex I was with for 4 years. It was very toxic but over time we managed to finally come to good terms and accept we didn’t work out. We have no ill will towards each other , and honestly at the end of it we had more respect for each other . We still have love for each other but will never get back together.

In my dream it was more like I miss him n he misses me . I don’t miss the relationship but I do miss him n his personality. We had a bond and connection I will never forget cause we were just like best friends . I know he feels the same way too .

Is this weird ? Or has anybody ever felt this way before ? Can anyone give me more insight on it

Btw it’s almost been two years since we broke up but we’ve kept it contact on n off throughout the time just to see how were both doing .
