Cigs... thinking about quitting. What are the benefits and is it even worth it

You stop poisoning people with 2nd and 3rd hand smoke.
You stop smelling like an ashtray.

Better fitness because your lung capacity improves.
You save money.

The benefits? Your life. It is absolutely worth it. 
Smoking causes teeth stains and oral problems. Stained fingers from the nicotine. You have a higher chance of having cancer if you smoke. You get more wrinkles and age faster. It does affect children around you or children that you hold. You do not even have to smoke near a child. Just because you smoke and then be by them or touch them.. the nicotine gets into their system. Its proven, look it up. 
I smoked for years and quit as well.

I mean cigs are known to cause cancer so there’s that. Better breathing. Healthier lungs. More energy. Beautiful skin. Whiter teeth. The list goes on. I know it’s hard to quit but it really is worth it.

I’m not trying to be snarky or rude but I have to ask: Is this a real question?
It is widely known that cigarettes are harmful to your health and therefore Not smoking them gives you better health (in a big nutshell).  
I am confused as to why someone would ask if it’s even worth it to quit smoking cigarettes. Can someone (even if it’s not OP) give me some insight on the mindset behind this post? Or is it because I’ve never been a smoker that this post seems so odd to me (that someone would even ask this question)? 
But to OP: yes - the others have pretty much summed up all the benefits. You will live longer, less chance of various cancers, breathe easier, you won’t smell like an ashtray, you’ll have less facial wrinkles, and so on and so on.

There are countless benefits of quitting. I love how much easier it is to breath and not feeling so run down all the time
