Bronchiolitis 1month old ?

Well I just came back from the ER and they Diagnosed my baby with Bronchiolitis she’s only 1 month about a week an half old. Has anyone else ever had this what should I do ?? I been clearing her nose an using a humidifier we are going to the dr first thing in the morning to see what he wants to do and I’m just worried very very worried any tips ? Or advice ....

Hi! 
My little girl got this at 3.5 weeks (We have 3 other kids at home and it's hard to stop germs) 
I put a small cushion or you under the top of her matress to keep it slightly elevated at night time, this helped when her nose was running and stopped her throwing up as much when she coughed, it generally helped her breathe better at night.
You just have to let it run it's course. My little one is feeling better now a week on. It's horrible seeing them poorly. Sounds like you're doing all the right things. She will be better soon..x

My baby had that when he was one week. He got admitted and was on oxigen at the nicu for a week. Just keep an eye on his breathing if you see him strugling to breath take him to the er asap. You can help him by using a nasal aspirator but mostly the mucus is by his lungs thats why checking his breathing is super important. The virus has its peak day between day 5-7 of the illness thats when they get the worse they could get and then it slowly goes away. Hang in there i know its awfull. Also when this is over make sure the baby doesnt have contact with any sick person since he can get sick really bad again. Good luck! 🌟

A little different but my son got RSV at 4 weeks. I elevated the head of his bed, used saline and a bulb syringe to keep his nose clear, put him in the bathroom with a steaming hot shower, and ran humidifiers

My doctor recommended saline drops to make sure their nose is cleared. I also used a humidifier right next to him while her was sleeping and kept him inclined so he can breathe easier. If I took a shower, I would take him with me in the bathroom in the rock and play and let him sit in the steam while I showered.

It’s basically a virus and has to run its course unless it complicates the baby’s breathing. At the most, he would need a breathing treatment. Most doctors won’t give antibiotics for it so it’s just home treatment.
