Any doctors warn you of c section because of baby’s size?

I really would like to avoid because the recovery and having a toddler. 
My son is measuring big which we expected but now he’s saying I may have a c section if he’s too big and I have a recheck at 39 weeks for size. Help!

Women birth 'big' babies vaginally all the time. I'm measuring ahead and my MW is expecting no less than 9lbs. I was 8 lbs 6 oz my SO was 9 lbs 13 oz. She knows I want a natural birth so dosent even bring up c-section but instead tells me that she recommends that I give birth on my hands and knees to open my pelvis as much as possible. Doctors who jump strait to c-sections are making women feel inferior, like our bodies weren't made exactly for this purpose. C-sections are so much more convenient for them, 30-minutes compared to possibly 30 hours. They also make more money on c-sections. If you want a vaginal birth stand your ground, you don't need one if your baby is simply measuring ahead of societal standards.

I am having a c section with mine - not just because she is measuring big but because her stomach is disproportionately larger than her head, so my doctors are concerned about possible shoulder dystocia. 
Personally i think doctors know best and i don’t want to have any type of emergency while giving birth that could put me or baby at risk, so I dont mind having the c section at all. 
I am, however, sick of other women shaming me every time I tell them I’m having one. I’m happy and proud to be making sure my baby is safe!! Do what you and your doctors think is best. Don’t let others make you feel bad for whatever that choice is.

Measurements of baby inside the womb are never accurate. Not only that but your body is built to birth and hospital staff are trained to deliver even the biggest of babies. Unless your baby is predicted to be an 11 pounder I’d stick with your gut and elect not to have a cesarean. I’d also do some research if you’re still unsure. Cesareans are convenient for your doctor, not for you. Only 5% are true emergencies. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Birthed a 10lb 1oz baby vaginally with no epidural and only a tiny little tear. It is quicker and easier for Drs to perform c-sections than take the time to guide and support a woman through a vaginal birth. Our bodies are designed to give birth to babies, that is why they stretch and move during our pregnancies. 
I will disclose that obviously this isn't ALL women and sometimes c-sections are chosen by the mother, are emergencies or are necessary due to medical conditions. There is absolutely NO shame in having a c-sec if you need one or want one.

They said this garbage to my mother and to myself.
My mother was 42 years old, had gestational diabetes, and wanted to attempt a VBAC. (Had an emergency C-section with my brother at 35 years old). The doctor wanted to do a C-section because they were sure I would be huge. They were wrong, I was 8 lbs and my mom pushed me out just fine.
They told me that my baby was 10 lbs on a growth scan at 37 weeks and that I would need a C-section. Well I said no. Guess what? I vaginally birthed a 6lb 13oz baby girl. I only pushed for 10 minutes.
Stand your ground. They can't really tell how big the baby is from a scan, it's not 100% accurate. If you go into labor naturally and try vaginally and something happens where they HAVE to do a C-section, then that's different. But they don't need to plan to do a C-section just because your baby may or may not be big.

X sections are 100% NOT more conviniant for them what so ever so I’m not sure why she said that 😂 
They cost thousands to do, yes it’s an operation in under 1 hour but they pay for the surgeons etc vaginal birth is easy for them, they just assist and pay nothing for you to have them! 
C sections are actually extremely hard to get and they try everything for you NOT TO HAVE ONE especially after care aswell, it all costs the NHS a lot of money for one women to have one. 
Not to mention they want you back to normal as soon as possible. 
They wouldn’t advise unless nessercery if you don’t want one tell them, they will not force you unless baby is in Danger which I’m sure you would willingly go through with a c section. 
Im having my first baby via c section in 20 days time by choice, I’m still nervous and scared but just want my baby here healthy and that was the better option for me xx

My doctors also want me to have a csection late next week at 39 weeks because my baby was 9lbs 4oz on the growth scan last week. They think she will be around 11 lbs and do not want to put us at risk. But I am freaking out!

I was told in my last pregnancy that my baby would be 10lb and would probably get stuck... Well they were wrong, he was 7lb11 and I got him out in 2 pushes. They have no clue how big your baby is going to be until your baby is born. Don't be pressured in to anything, there's always an option for an emergency C-section if needed.
