Ceasereans or normal dilivery?

Question

Im 5'5 and was 186 lbs when pregnancy started and I gained 22 lbs already and my 3rd trimester just started....
My doctor said that I have 90% chances that i'll have ceaserean because of these two factors.... Do I really have 10% chances of normal dilivery? 
PLEASE DO TELL ME! I REALLY WANT TO HAVE NORMAL DILIVERY :(

Sounds like he prefers c-section. I don’t see why you couldn’t deliver vaginally? I ended my last pregnancy at 200 lbs started at 150 and I delivered with no issues. I’ve gained 20 so far this time starting at 150 again and she hasn’t even mentioned cesarean. You may want to start advocating for your self.

Sounds more like he would prefer for you to have a C-section. I was way heavier then you and only 5’3”, absolutely no problems with a normal vaginal delivery.

I'm 5'1 and I'm 179lbs with this pregnancy  at 21w5d (22 weeks thursday) and am planning on my 4th vaginal delivery in March. There may be other factors as well that could be reasons for your OB to suggest c-section, but there have also been several women I know who measured big, had height weight like me and delivered just fine vaginally after being told they may have to have a c-section as well.

I gained about 80 lbs while pregnant with my daughter. My daughter was born 8lbs 1 oz. i had hoped for a natural birth. I had a c section not because of weight or size issues. I had an emergency c section after a failed induction. I was 41+4 and my daughter was not trying to come out at all.

So far no MEDICAL reason you need a csection..i gained over 50 pounds..and has not impacted anything reguarding vagbirth amd at 39 weeks now
