My mother in law

Okay so my husband and I have been together for 12 years now and his mother does not like me. Our relationship was never the best relationship we have had so many bad times together but some how we have managed to get through everything and still stay together. We have 3 wonderful kids together. She always talking bad about me too my husband. I have always try’d to be nice and not say anything to her about it but I am just done with her.. I honestly don’t see her very often which I am glad about. I don’t know what to do anymore to make things any better not for me but for my husband and the kids. Any advice?.
