End of the world?
My husband and I had an interesting conversation that I thought might be a good fit for CC.
We were watching the news and they were talking about the doomsday clock... (scientists use global warming, pollution, war etc. To estimate a date when the world will end.)
My question to my husband was...
If you knew for a fact, the world was going to end in 12 years from today, and you were trying to have kids, would you continue to try for a baby? Would you want to raise a child knowing the world will end when they are a child and the last few years of their life would be horrifying?
Or would you not want to bring a baby into a world that may end when they are so young?
Sorry if this is kind of dark, and maybe confusing! It turned into an interesting debate with my husband and I, and I was curious what others would say.
