How do contractions feel ?

So I been having like a really bad stomach ache since 2 in the morning it comes and goes ( not minutes apart though) could that be contractions?

Oo sounds similar to mine. I thought my intestines were cramping up, as they sometimes do if I drink something cold in the morning, but then the pain spread to my back and then disappeared completely. They feel very different to my braxton hicks too. 🤔

It feels like your entire abdomin is tightening up. It'll feel rock hard to the touch. Further into active labor it feels like it's cramping so hard it's ripping your sides open.

With my first I was convinced it was trapped wind, but it escalated and you couldn’t mistake later ones for that.
