Glucose test ranttttt

Well, today I had my glucose test and I’ve heard awful things and read good things, so I was going in with total confidence that it wouldn’t be that bad and well.. IT WAS THE WORST.

I didn’t get a choice in flavor, so I got the lime and it was disgusting. She gave me 5 minutes, but told me as long as I get it down without throwing up I’ll be okay. It took me 10 minutes, with sipping and plugging my nose and even then I almost threw up with every swig. After I returned from my hour wait, she couldn’t find a vein to draw my blood so I got poked three times and finally third time was the charm. During all of my pokes though? I managed to vomit all over my nurse and myself and the chair and it was just a crazy experience for me! I get my test results back tomorrow SO I PRAY I PASSED. The test sucked, but I keep telling myself, it’s all for my baby girl. ❤️

Has anyone else had a bad experience with the glucose test?
