I had an infected molar removed yesterday... it was a pretty traumatic extraction and more complex than the dentist anticipated 😣 He was only able to remove 2 of the 3 roots. Fortunately, the two he took out were the infected ones. What should I do about the retained root? I have an appt in a week to have it extracted but I do not think I can go through that again. Can an oral surgeon remove the root instead of the dentist? Is there any chance my body could expel the root eventually? Any advice or insight is SUPER appreciated!! Thank you!
