When to take bottle away?

My LO is 10.5 months. He currently has 4 bottles a day. When do I completely take away the bottles away? I know I have to start cows milk when he is 12 months. He already takes water in a sippy cup. Is he having too many bottles for his age? Should I be cutting one or 2 out by now? When do you start feeding solids before the bottle?

My son is 1 year and he still has bottles just with cow's milk. I'm just slowly trying to use the bottle less and less.

You don’t have to switch to cows milk at 1.  You could just give formula in silly cup during the day and 1 bottle at night before bed. 
My LO is 9months and doesn’t take a bottle at all. But he will still drink the milk out of a cup.

Probably 3 bottles of milk a day. The water is good whenever as well. My LO is 15 months now & on cow milk & her doctor said 2 bottles of milk a day only.

I breastfed my son (still do but only once in the early morning and before bed) but he also had bottles when I was gone. I introduced a sippy cup with water for him to play around with at 9 months. Once he turned a year I started putting breastmilk in the sippy cup and he was fine. Now he gets cows milk in the sippy cup and he’s 13 months.

Our pediatrician was firm on cutting bottles as soon as possible after age 1. We took his bottle away at 14 months.
