ParaGard after math.

I got the ParaGard iud yesterday. Let me just say I did not expect it to hurt as bad as it did or have the aftermath I’m having. I’m having terrible cramps in my stomach and they told me to take Motrin but it’s not working at all. How long will this pain last?? Also how long should I wait to have sex?? Can I still have rough sex like I was before?? I definitely should have asked that before I did this.
