I have had a cyst on my right ovary for two months. It does cause pain and discomfort during sex and during day to day basis. It ruptured the day after my period ended and another one grew back in two days. I went to my doctor and have an ultrasound scheduled for 11 days from now. I am scared to death of getting ovarian torsion due to the weight of the cyst and losing my ovary and having to have surgery.

For anyone who doesn’t know, torsion is when the ovary twists over on itself and cuts off blood flow which causes severe pain and requires surgery to untwist it and sometimes remove it.
