Is it called Stuffing or dressing ?

Dressing goes on salad. Stuffing is the breaded type side dish you eat with turkey.

From Minnesota...we called it stuffing inside or out. Currently in Montana....they call it stuffing here too.

Outside/on top of something = dressing

There’s actually a difference between the two.

Stuffing must be stuffed in.  Dressing can be made on the side.
