Period on the Pill

Is it possible for periods to become so light they are almost nonexistent on the pill similar to how the IUD makes periods disappear?

I’ve been back on the pill for the last six months after having the IUD for six months (with no period at all), and my periods have become short and light on the pill, and I have not experienced this on the pill before. My last period was four days and very light, as in one or two pads a day, and this current period started Wednesday night (last pill on Saturday) and is barely even spotting (barely there, brown when I wipe, might not even make it to the pad). Is this normal? I just started having sex again about three weeks ago after a month break, so it doesn’t explain my last period being light, but I’m nervous about this one...
