How to soothe herpes?

So Monday I started with a rash which seems to be herpes. I can’t afford a doctor and just by the looks and feels, that’s what I’m treating it as until I get to a doctor. Is there any home remedies to help soothe pains of it?

I’m afraid it’s infected or something. It is draining because I notice stuff on my underwear but whenever it dries it hardens, which is very concerning. I do have a doctors appointment Tuesday, it’s the closest I can get it because everything is closed from the holidays.

I have a friend with herpes who uses apple cider vinegar but yours looks like it could be infected so that would hurt like crazy. If it is actually herpes you do need to see a doctor, even a walk in clinic or planned parenthood just to get a prescription. If you dont feel comfortable talking about your past then you dont have to, you need treatment above all else.

Just tell your mom you need to go to the obgyn for an infection and if she ask what for say you think you have a UTI or a yeast infection and if she ask your symptoms say itchiness or burning while your pee or both you just really need to get that checked out

Just wanted to let you know that you can go to Planned Parenthood without your parents knowing. They should be able to help you out, maybe give you an antiviral cream to put on it.

Can you go to an Urgent Care of some sort? They should be able to swab it and give you results pretty quickly. Valtrex is really the best thing to speed up healing and keep outbreaks at a minimum.

I would try a hot compress followed by dabbing it with an Apple cider vinegar soaked cotton ball. Keep it clean and dry! Stick with cotton panties
