My milk came in today (3 days pp) and my breasts hurt quite a bit to where I can’t sleep. He seems to be eating fine. Are they going to hurt like this all the time?

No, it’ll level out. Hand express a little into a muslin just to stop them hurting. Don’t pump or you’ll generate even more

It gets better! They just released a study saying that most moms adjust and don’t feel any kind of pain after 22 days. So just make it to that and it should be so much better! If you are uncomfortable you can pump for 10-20 seconds per breast and just get a little off to help (if you pump more than that you’ll create an over supply which will make the problem worse), hand express, and stand in the hot shower and let them relax a little, also rub them a little to help keep your ducts clear! Try to alternate feeding positions also...it helps the breast to release milk slightly differently each time. Don’t pump them unless you really need the supply stash- that’ll make you produce EVEN MORE. Ie too much stimulation

That is normal and will go away once your milk supply normalizes.
Make sure to rotate each feeding, even half way through a feeding for relief.
You can pump just enough to make your breast soft and then I would stop.
