Drinking while breastfeeding??

My mom is watching my 3 month old tonight so me and my husband can go out I have pumped plenty  of milk for her to feed him. I have the alcohol  test strips now I'm just worried my milk might dry up. Has anyone had this happen from having a few drinks ?

You won’t dry up at all. Enjoy yourself and drink a glass of water for every drink you have. You’ll stay hydrated and won’t feel like garbage later.

Your milk won’t dry up from a few hours without baby don’t worry :)  you will probably get pretty uncomfortable though so I would recommend bringing a pump if it’s going to longer than 3-4 hours.  I have a manual pump that I keep in my car for situations like this haha
