My husband and I want to do something fun for once. This time next year will be our third year married and our 7th year together all together. It will be our anniversary. We did just buy a house and are doing pretty well. I am like $1,000 in debt, but as soon as I start this new job and have 2 jobs (1 part time, 1 full time) it should be fairly easy to pay off. My step mother who has been in my life since I was 7 (divorced my dad a few years ago, but is like my second mom and I have siblings from her and we are extremely close) will probably be getting married to her new man. She found a kicking deal on a 4-3 day cruise that she wants to book with us and the kids and her man to go on all together and celebrate my husband and I’s anniversary, my birthday, her new step daughters birthday, and they will probably get married on the beach at California after the cruise ends. We want to take our tax returns and go do this. I am petrified of boats though. Ever since I watched Poseidon.... it just scares me. I am also petrified of heights and she wants us to fly to Cali from Utah where we live. It’s only like a 2 hour flight, but still. What do you think we should do? The cruise is only like $300 - $400 per person and that includes all the food you can eat, all the entertainment, and much more. It’s a great deal. We have never had a true vacation like this since we have been together.
