Tampons?!?

So I tried using a tampon the other day and it was so uncomfortable and dry like I could feel it in my vagina. And after not even an hour later I was like alright nah this tampon has got to go and I tried to take it out but like that shit hurted. Eventually, I was able to take it out in a way that I’m not proud of honesty like smh. Ima be on pads for the rest of my life.

Well when you use a tampon you should not be able to feel when they are in. If you can you are doing it wrong and you just have to reajust it. Have you talked to your mum about this? Maybe she will be better help.

There are other options, menstrual cups and period underwear (check out modibodi). No monthly expenses as these are all reusable/washable

I had this exact same problem. For me, switching to plastic applicators helped a lot. I also figured out through lots of trial and error that the tampon isn't meant to go at a perfect angle like the pictures in the pamphlets. Everyone's body is a little different, and everyone wears tampons differently.
