My husband and I are starting the foster process and couldn’t be more excited! His parents, on the other hand, and not only rude, but down right nasty about how much they hate that we’re considering it. And I mean HATE. They’ve told us because we have multiple animals, because we have a small house (we don’t), because we both work (yet single men and woman can do it and work) they won’t allow us so don’t bother... I’m frustrated as can bad but not letting them stop us from this. We are TTC but.. trying 2x a month, maybe, isn’t exactly trying and in all reality, knowing that there are kids, here and now who need a home, need the love... that is more to me than making our “own blood” as they say...

Anyone else in the process and going through this?? We have a support system and quite a few foster families and couples we talk to also which helps so much...
