I’m freaking out a little, probably unnecessarily. I’ve had a couple before, 7+ years ago, that were benign but they said the one I have now is “somewhat atypical.” They’ve labeled it a BIRADS 4, which means “suspicious abnormality” which carries a 20-35% risk of cancer.

I go back for a biopsy on Wednesday and won’t get the results until the 4th.

I’m needing some reassurance. Has anyone else been through this?

Update: I’ve had it for about 2 months, so it’s not milk duct related and they had me try a round of antibiotics to make sure it wasn’t mastitis and it didn’t do anything.
