Hi everyone
I am due my second baby in July 2019. I had severe pre-eclampsia and HELLP with my son resulting in him being delivered via c-section at 26 weeks exactly. He is now 2yrs 9 months and doing amazingly, even if he is still small for his age.
I had him in the UK and now live in NZ. I am so grateful to live in places with social healthcare as we are looked after exceptionally well with no panic about costs. I saw a consultant before leaving the UK who tested me for clotting disorders (all negative, literally no known reason why it happened so badly). My doctors and midwife here in NZ have started me on aspirin since I had my bfp and calcium to try and get us further along with less severe complications. I am not yet feeling connected to this pregnancy - I just hope we both survive.
Wishing all other mummies a safe pregnancy. Pic of my best boy ❤️
