Does Roomba get pet hair?

Question

I'm only 6 months pregnant but I already don't have the energy (and breath) to vacuum as much as I need to with two pets that shed a lot. Once the baby gets here, I could use the extra help too. 
Honestly, I don't even need to defend myself. I want one lol but the only way I'm paying that price is if it gets dog hair up good. Yay or nay?

Alright probably tmi and not helpful but I worked for a family that had 2 roombas. Those stupid things were always having to be emptied, not going back to their home stations and UGH this one time the cat threw up and roomba ran right through it it was the most disgusting thing I have had to clean, and as a nanny I’ve had poop smeared across my face and that didn’t even phase me but the cat puke 🤮🤮🤮

I highly recommend the ecovacs deebot n79s. We just got it for cat and dog hair mostly and it's amazing. As a bonus it has cleaned up a ton of dust under the bed where vacuuming normally just didn't reach. It's like having a maid however many days a week you want them! Only downfall is you need to keep the house picked up. Legos, cords, etc. will all be eaten by robot vacuums.

Ours works fine on the carpet but on our main level we have hardwood floors with area rugs. The roomba pushes the dog hair around and leaves it along the edges of the area rugs when it changes surfaces.

Love my roomba! I have two dogs who shed TERRIBLY and dark brown wood floors (so you can see every piece of hair) and I couldn’t live without my roomba.

We have two German Shepherds, ("German Shedders") and the Roomba barely cleaned the corner of our main room that they stay in before it was clogged. We ended up returning it and buying the Dyson handheld that goes on the wall and it is seriously the best. Quick sweep in the morning and I'm done 👍

They pick up dog hair but if one of the dogs has an accident, you'll be cleaning up poop for days.

It's been almost 10 years since I've had a Roomba, but even back then it was a charm. I used it on the new house when I moved (they had pets, I didn't) and I consistently still picked up dog hair, even after using their equally expensive upright.

We have a German Shepard who sheds A LOT and his hair broke our Roomba within 2 months 🤷🏻‍♀️ my husband's aunt has three dogs who also shed a lot and I don't even know how many Roombas they've gone through. We've always just vacuumed once a day or once every other and it's never been an issue even with a newborn. And if we miss a day, we don't worry about it. It's not going to kill anyone lol

I’ve had a roomba for about a year and love it. I run it one time every day and it picks up ALOT of hair ... my dog sheds constantly. I rarely take out my regular vacuum unless I need to clean behind something roomba can’t reach. But roomba can get under furniture, under the couch and under the bed etc which is great. The only annoying thing is the brushes get filled with hair so you do have to clean them out every couple months or so.
