Have any of you who use mama cloth tried prefolds for postpartum bleeding? I was looking into postpartum pads and they are EXPENSIVE to buy enough to use exclusively. Then came across the idea to use prefolds. I bought a dozen "newbie" size cloth-eez prefolds and plan to just lay them on top of a long disposable liner to get the waterproof-backing. Then I can just keep using the same liner if I don't totally soak through the prefolds.

I'm a FTM, so who knows if this will actually work, but I got a dozen for $16, which is about how much one quality pp pad (or two if you find a deal) costs.

Once I'm up and about more I'll use my regular cloth pads, but I figured I'd at least give this a try! Worst case scenario, I can use them as doublers later on... Or burp cloths!
