All for them IF the child WANTS and ENJOYS doing them. I am all against it if the parent is forcing it. Well I’m really against anything forced.

Against. I just don’t see the point. I don’t feel like we need to be pushing the importance of exterior beauty to that extent on kids. Society and social media and tv and magazines already do that enough. I feel like there are better and more important values to be pushing.

My 2 yr old has done a few local ones, purely out of fun, she loved dressing up and being on stage, however the last time we did one, she just didn't seem as into it as much so we haven't done more. I also didn't pour thousands of dollars into it either 🤣

Depends on how the parent goes about it. Some parents get more into it than the child and gets too competitive. That’s when the child becomes miserable. Other than that I’m for them.

My 2 year old had been in them since 10 m. At first it was just for fun for my MIL and I. Now my daughter enjoys them. If she ever decides she wants to stop she can stop. I will stand by her decision no matter what or who says anything about it. I believe it helps her be social and she loves making everyone laugh and clap. She is also learning good sportsmanship as she claps and is happy even when she doesn't win. Now I don't agree with make up and things for young ladies. And she also knows I believe they are all beautiful in their own way and just because she wins doesn't mean she is any better than anyone else . So we do natural hair and face.
