I had my annual Pap test done a while ago at a new doctors place in a new city I moved to.

I was under the impression that the doctor that was doing my Pap test was going to be a female. I sat and waited, and a male doctor that’s filling in for my original doctor who is on leave. I was thrown back but I kept cool since I needed to have one because I have pain when I have sex.

I was uncomfortable though... and the Pap test could barely be completed because he was also making it uncomfortable. I was laying there, legs open and he was searching and feeling around for my cervix and then he continued to tell me while his hands are in my cervix that “ oh your cervix is hiding from me today” I let out an uncomfortable HA.

He kept making it obvious that he was trying to get up in there which was making me more uncomfortable and harder for him to get anything.

I’m unsure what to make of this I feel like this was extremely unprofessional of him to say these things to me while being where he was.

I should of said something of wanting it to be a female but it was already happening.....
