Of course being protective is a basic parental instinct but I feel like people keep their kids in bubbles...

It doesn't bother me. What does annoy me is when they're overly cautious about MY kid 😅

I totally believe that my mum was over cautious, but now that I have a baby, I understand why! I protected this little bub for 9 months and now he’s out in the world! The world is unkind to everyone so I suppose mums are just trying to protect their babies as much as they can until they can protect themselves. 
I am going to try to be a lenient mum but I can see that it will be difficult to step back sometimes!

It depends what they’re being too overly cautious about. People get mad at me for not wanting second hand smoke around my child and call me overbearing 🤷🏻‍♀️.
