I think I have an anal fissure but am not sure and don’t have a doctor. Yesterday I passed a very hard stool/BM. There was blood, but I was on period day 3 so didn’t think much of it. Today I had a normal BM, and noticed more blood than I should have for period day 4. I did some investigating with a mirror and found what looks like a little cut/ tear on my anus. The reason I’m worried is every website says fissures only occur on the “midline” that lines up with the spine, and mine is off to the left a little. Is this something I should worry about? The bleeding has subsided, and it’s not painful (just a little itchy). And honestly I don’t even know if it’s from this or from wiping, etc. Sorry for being so graphic... it sucks being a hypochondriac without access to affordable healthcare. 😭
