How are you supposed to breastfeed?

do you breastfeed from one side at a time or both sides at every session?

Each baby is different, my Bub prefers right side but likes to keep her options open and we generally do 10 mins right side switch to left for 5 mins then head back right to finish off 😂
Weirdly my right produces more foremilk (thinner more watery thirst quenching) and my left produces more hindmilk (thicker creamier more calorific and filling) so I often describe it as starters mains and pudding for her 🙈

I think it depends on baby.. I only feed from one side per feeding because that’s all he needs, but I know it’s an option if baby empties the one side and is still hungry to let them eat off the other side until they’re satisfied and then go back and forth like that
